As a Senior Designer within the Nick Creative Resource Property Design team, I work on a variety of custom packaging templates and style guides for numerous brand lines. Utilizing creative assets from our wide range of Nick Branded content I designed and developed Invader Zim packaging templates which include open & closed style boxes, blister cards & blister cards with inserts, hang tags, header cards, and a tray box design.
The Story of Zim: An alien from the planet Irk is sent to Earth, not realizing that his leaders were fooling him and didn't think a planet was there. He manages to fit in with school children but one boy sees through his disguise.
This packaging style guide was initially created to be exclusive to Toys R Us along with Nickelodeon’s toy partner Mattel Inc.
Timeshel is a Brooklyn based company that offers iPhone photo prints by mail, which is nothing new. But instead of delivering them in a simple envelope, Timeshel’s big differentiating factor is that they arrive in a white plastic box called the “shel.”
The brief was to create a delivery system for the photos. The initial idea from the client was to create a more traditional paper package but they were very open minded to any new ideas. The client was very excited by the concepts I developed and adopted several of them into the final design.
The “Shel” serves a number of purposes beyond just be the packaging for the prints. It can be used like a picture frame, displaying photos by propping them in the slit in the top. The boxes stack together like a mini file cabinet of sorts where you can slide out the trays to retrieve your prints at any time. The inspiration was from a classic matchbox design. In addition, the stack design creates a simple space-saving system and adds to the collectability of the monthly deliveries. The boxes also fit nicely on a bookshelf, taking up minimal room compared with a more traditional photo album. Finally the design has a diecut centered in the middle much like the lens of a camera.
PAW Patrol is a highly successful children's animated television show produced by SpinMaster toys and aired on the Nickelodeon television network. All-Star Pups was a storyline within the show and a consumer product line was created for the new segment. The packaging was designed for SpinMaster Toys and all other Nickelodeon lines of business.
The Motobox installation was commissioned by Goodification to gather information. The viewer was created with the purpose of finding out the relative influence of the motivations among young people. This can help guide the strategic articulation of a brand’s voice in culture.
Motobox was placed in various locations around New York including Brooklyn Bridge Park and Central Park. Inside the box was a computer with various rotating images. There was a two way communication device for a person engaging the Motobox and a team asking questions based on the images.
I designed and built the Motobox based on one of three concepts I developed. The brief was to create an object to house the computer yet be visible and engaging to the average passerby.

The Tower Foundation of Manhasset is a fundraising organization for Manhasset Public Schools. They organized The Manhasset Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct 14th 2017 to raise money and promote the organization’s purpose.

Mirror Mirror™ pushed people to perceive themselves beyond their perceived norms to get to the heart of who they really are (or aren’t). With compelling stimulus materials and interactive input mechanisms, Mirror Mirror™was a powerful new projective technique.
Mirror Mirror™ was created from one of twelve concepts. The final concept chosen was three stacked viewing screens with sliding body snapshots. There were heads, torsos, and legs from different people interchanging on the screens to act as Mirror. Participants took a journey through four phases where interactive data was collected. Participants were then rewarded at the end of the experience with an introspective insight about themselves to push their thinking process even further.
